Almy, my wife.. I still remember that line I said to you a long time ago — “I will never let you go”, and I still mean that. I see marriage is a journey –not a just status that I take for granted — with the ultimate destination being life in the Hereafter. Help me become a better husband, father and Muslim. Somebody said recently that he never saw you without a smile — and I know you better than that; you smile with all your being and good deeds. Thank you for being my wife.

It’s like a dream.. Yesterday I had my going away party at my office, and I didn’t realize how attached I was to my workplace and the wonderful people until I stood there in front of my many colleagues and supervisors. I stated that the best thing about working in the place was the people, who support each other and make things work — and I was sincere about that. Too bad I stuttered too much and didn’t communicate that feeling well enough

A week from now, I’m punching out of my current line of work, and I expect that I will never return. The movers have been scheduled, the rental cars have been booked. Almy, my amazing wife has been working behind the scenes to make sure all the logistics from CA to TX are covered. All I need to worry about is just the paperwork.

In a few days, we won’t have easy access to the Internet anymore — this computer I use now will also be packed. To those who routinely check our blog, thank — see you in a week or to (at least after I reestablish the Internet connection).

Here’s a parting shot at California — bye Cali, you’re a nice place to live in (But you’re just too expensive :))

Dangdut banget deh judulnya hehehe.. gpp la.. wong emang udah tiga tahun kok.. Apanya? Ya kami berdua.. sudah 3 tahun setelah mengikat janji seidup semati.. taelaaa.. gak kukuuuu deh..

Mohon doanya ya teman temin, Semoga Allah selalu memberikan barokah-Nya kepada keluarga kami, memberikan kekuatan dan kesabaran dikala badai melanda, susah duka dirasa bersama, apalagi di tahun ini kami punya banyak sekali agenda, dan banyak sekali hal2 yg telah terlewati bersama. Ingin sekali di share di blog ini, tapi apa daya, tangan cuman dua, kerjaan masih banyak menanti disana dan 24 jam waktu kurang dirasa (nilai sastra gue lagi tinggi nih,, semuanya a a a hehehe). Ya pokoknya stay tune aja deh di blog ini, insyaallah pas kita sempet, kita apdet2 deh kabar2 kita.

Anyhow, Ini foto waktu kami lagi di Ventura, ngunjungin temen deket kita. Si Amira kemana? Kami umpetin dulu hehehe … gak ding,, lagi lari2 di rumput, kejer2an dan maen2 bubble ama anaknya temen kita itu.

Ini dia si little princess kami, gak kerasa tgl 12 Mei lalu (pas Neneknya juga ultah yang ke 61, Met ultah ya neeeek) udah 15 bulan.  Cerita ttg Amira menyusul deh ya.. emak babenya lagi sibuks beraats nih.. We went Santa Barbara a while ago to pay a visit to some friends of mine before I moved to Texas. I also thought it would be a good opportunity for Amira to see a Californian beach. She definitely liked it…
