It wasn’t easy to be without Internet for more than a month (hence the huge gap between this post and the last few ones). But finally I have it back in the form of AT&T U verse. No wonder people in Houston wanted this service so bad, it’s cheap, you don’t need a phone line nor TV service, and you get a wireless modem that allows you up to 10 wireless devices to connect to the Internet. So now I can just lounge around on the sofa with my BB, Iphone or laptop and surf if I wanted to. Very, very grateful for this..

Not my first career choice, but with the recession and all, I’m grateful to just have a job. Besides, I’ve long abandoned the career of my dreams anyways :). I spent only a few months in my new workplace as a controls application engineer, only to change into a systems engineer role. So I’m continuing what I stopped doing 5 years ago — maintaining a windows network environment. Let’s see how this goes; I need to brush up on Active Directory again.
