among His signs is that He created for

wives from among yourselves,
that you may find repose in them, and
He has put
between you affection and mercy.
Verily, in that are indeed signs for
a people who reflect".

Although born from Minang parents, being raised in Medan
made Almy become 'more Medan than Minang people'.
However, she still inherited the Minang passion to leave
her hometown and see the world.
After graduating high school, she continued her education
to Institut Teknologi Bandung. While she misses her mother
and wishes to return home, her life away from home continued
with a year working in Jakarta.
In 2001 she abandoned that life for studying in an even
farther place in Europe; and now it's been 4 years since
she lived in Germany. After 10 years away from home, she
has now decided to settle down and get married and Allah
willing, she will soon have her very own family by her
side..
